We’ve all had mums. They gave us life, and for most of us they nurtured us, encouraged us, clothed, fed, cared for us, picked us up and brushed away our tears, lis
tened with joy to our childish talk, worried about us in our teenage years, supported us when we struggled as adults with career or relationships. No wonder the Bible tells us to ‘Honour…. your mother’ (Exodus 20:12). So thank you mum, the role you play in our lives is absolutely vital. And thank you to all who mother our children in any way. You are greatly appreciated!
