Waypoint News

As a church we support Waypoint – 22 churches working together to help local people find the way (Jesus) for themselves.  Following a successful launch where the Archbishop of Canterbury prayed a blessing on the town, we enjoyed a great Riding Lights production of CROSSLIGHTS: a passion play for Lent, followed by a scratch performance of Handel’s Messiah and a very successful Easter Egg hunt around town.  The next big event planned is from 9th-16th July when Roughshod Theatre groups hope to be going into local schools followed by a big central performance at the end of the week.  Other events planned are some street dance, a Comedy magician, John Archer here at ABC on Friday 29th Sept, a joint Harvest Festival and a live Nativity on the Streets of Maidstone, in addition to a number of local initiatives around the town.  Let’s be ready to pray, give and actively support the project in any way we can.
